Some more drawings. A first attempt at the sequence starting with, "... And as the world is whipping by it starts to form animation cells of Jeff Smith fixing his computer on every scale of the world simultaneously..." Jeff is gonna kill me...

Flower that I saw while frolicking through the fields.

Breaking down another scene further: "... And re-ultraman drinks something ..." Just trying some things... I imagine in the second one, he's saying, "Oooo, siamese cat milk oh so sour!"

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are floating in space...

As I'm posting this, I just noticed that one of my robots on my desk is giving me the double middle fingers...I will avenge myself later. There's a few things that seem to come up in my work: Magicians, Catholic symbolism, Robots, Floating objects and animals doing odd things. I'm not sure where this fits in...

...

Testing out the Cintiq. Print it out. Fill the word balloon with your heart's desires...

Oh, I can put all the images on one post... duh

"... And he looks out and the ray of light is bent in the bubble of the transformative space-time nexus fabric portal of his own inner body of perception..."

"... and in that transfinite world he sees the vision emcompassing both the large and the small worlds when his eyes meet the gaze of another re-ultragirl at that very moment..."

love scene again. haha

At the end, there are individual pictures of a flower, of the girl, door knob, grocery store parking lot - this one's - you guessed it - dog poop
"...Or the city is a fractal of ever larger cities, and when he scales up the skyscraper becomes a footstool of the large world..."
"...And while making love to re-ultragirl he glimpses himself from above the small re-ultraman down in the grid of the city walking among the sea of city dwellers..."

"... And at one point there is a matrix super slow mo of re-ultraman turning inside out from large to small..."
These aren't in any particular order. Buck Rogers-like falling through space.

"...And re-ultraman drinks something and he keeps shrinking and he keeps falling into successive doorways as they expand into 'normal human' scale."

Ito is the Japanese Spock. Fuji has constipation.

hayata and za chief

Haro chief, let's talk why not? Hayata has funny posture. Maybe he has scoliosis. Oh wait, that's me. Wha?

Not really... A sketch of Alan Arkin from the movie Catch-22.

Time passing doodles...I lean a little bit retro...I kind of like that I gave the Science Bulldog some soiled underpants to wear over his space suit.

I love my Danelectro!

I do, I really do! It's sparkle-y grey blue for those of you interested.

Snakes on a...

Another day, another subsidiary...

This kicks off what is to be Scientific Dog Industries' sketch blog, a place for Jim, Michele and I to post doodles, visual ideas, or whatever comes into our heads and out of our hands. If you happen to come upon this site, please understand that we're not out to make masterpieces but are using this as another creative outlet. So enough jibber jabber, let's bring on the doodles...
